NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Wednesday wrote to three Union Ministers Meneka Gandhi (Women and Child Development), J. P Nadda (Health and Family Welfare) and Jual Oram (Tribal Affairs) on Nagada deaths
The hilltop Nagada village in Odisha’s mineral-rich Jajpur district hit headlines after death of at least 19 infants allegedly due to malnutrition.
Though the state government has identified about 20 malnourished children at the village, it is yet to admit that the 19 kids died due to lack of nutritious food within three months.
