BHILAI/BHUBANESWAR: Union Steel-PNG Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was on Thursday visited Steel Authority India Ltd (SAIL) , Bhilai unit in Chhattisgarh and reviewed various ongoing works. He also reviewed the expansion work.
“Visited Bhilai Steel Plant, the pride of India. One of the best integrated steel plant’s in the country, BSP is India’s sole producer and supplier of world class rails for Indian railways and also a major producer of wide and heavy steel plates and structural steel,” Pradhan twitted.
“Inspected the “Safety Excellence Centre” named “Suraksha Kavach” atSteel Authority of India Limited’s Bhilai Steel Plant. Urged colleagues to adopt and implement best practices in the area of safety management for a zero-accident work environment at our steel plants,” he added.
Later in the day, Union Minister Pradhan will attend a wedding ceremony of a senior BJP leader and will back to New Delhi on Friday, sources said.
