NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: In view of outbreak of COVID-19, Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has urged CM Naveen Patnaik to introduce Ayushman Yojana in the state at this juncture.
Pradhan in a tweet said the noble scheme must be implemented in Odisha for the benefit of poor people who are fighting the deadly coronavirus. He said the Centre, as well as the state, have been trying their best to protect the people from the onslaught of the deadly COVID-19.
It is high time the government of Odisha must come forward to do the needful for the implementation of the health scheme.
The Union Minister said his earnest request to the Chief Minister is that he should take necessary steps to introduce the health scheme at the earliest so that the suffering of the people of Odisha will be minimized.
