NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has welcomed the announcement made by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi extending the nationwide lockdown till May 3.
“Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi’s address to the nation today highlighted the crucial aspects and the way forward to fight the #Covid19 pandemic. Extension of the nation-wide lockdown until 3rd May is a welcome move and will be a significant step in overcoming this invisible enemy,” Pradhan twited.
The discipline and diligence in following the lockdown and #SocialDistancing norms by our citizens have been a key element in containing the spread of the novel coronavirus in India, he said.
“Proactive steps taken by GOI, the state governments, our #CoronaWarriors and the collective resolve of 130+ crore citizens have ensured that the spread of the coronavirus is controlled in significant ways in India.#IndiaFightsCorona,” the Union Minister added.
