NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has held a video conference with Indian disapora in gulf.“Connected with friends from the Indian diaspora in Kuwait along with Amb. of India to Kuwait Mr. Sibi George at a webinar on #AatmaNirbharBharat organised by Bhartiya Pravasi Parishad Association of Kuwait.Spoke about the essence of #AatmaNirbharBharat initiative, which envisages a strong Bharat with robust manufacturing sector, self-reliant yet globally integrated economy,” Pradhan said.
“An #AatmaNirbharBharat will also cater to the expectations of the global community.Under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi ji India has shown remarkable fortitude and spirit of self-reliance in facing the challenges of #Covid19. From zero production of PPE kits in March, we have created a capacity of producing 2 lakh PPE kits per day, which is further growing, Pradhan said.
“The 21st century will be the century of knowledge. We are embracing technology and innovation to harness the opportunities created by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.Our Indian diaspora has a role to play in the making of #AatmaNirbharBharat. I appeal to the members of our diaspora to be a partner in this journey. Together we can make India self-reliant and fulfill domestic as well as global expectations,” he added.
