Earlier, on arrival Pradhan was received by Dr. Khalid Ali Al-Fadhel, Minister of Oil, and Acting Minister of Electricity and Water, State of Kuwait, upon his arrival at the Kuwait Airport.Union Minister Pradhan was Kuwait to offer condolences to the Kuwaiti leadership on behalf of the Government of India on the passing away of former Emir of Kuwait His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
Ministe Pradhan was carrying letters from President of India Ram Nath Kovind and Hon. PM Narendra Modi to delivered to the new leadership of Kuwait and also convey good wishes to the new leadership of Kuwait on behalf of PM Modi and the people of India. Pradhan is expected to meet Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber, the new Emir of Kuwait, to further strengthen the multi-faceted India-Kuwait relationship.
