DHENKANAL/BHUBANESWAR: Union Minister of Education , Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday led a TirangaYatra from Bhuban village in Odisha’s Dhenkanal, to amplify Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to citizens to hoist the flag at their home from 13th to 15th August as a part of the #HarGharTiranga campaign to mark 75 years of independence.
‘India’s youngest martyr, Baji Rout sacrificed his life at the tender age of 12 for our motherland. His valour, selflessness and unfathomable commitment is an inspiration for generations to come. Har Ghar Tiranga campaign is also a tribute to these great sons of mother India,’ Pradhan said while paying tribute to martyr Baji Rout and others at Saheed Smruti Sthambha in Dhenkanal.
“The cost of freedom was sacrifice of countless of our unsung personalities. The Har Ghar Tiranga movement is a way of showing gratitude and also remembering all those who gave it their all for our freedom. Let us join the movement to renew our commitment to nation-building,” Pradhan added.
