NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was on Tuesday interacted with LPG distributors across the Country through video conference. “Interacted with LPG distributors across the country to compliment them for their efforts in providing robust supply of LPG to consumers in these difficult times.Despite several challenges, our distributors are braving all odds to ensure cooking gas is delivered at the doorsteps. Compliment their preparedness in catering to the increased LPG demand, especially post the announcement of free LPG cylinders to #PMUY beneficiaries under PMGKY,” Union Minister Pradhan twitted.
“Our LPG distributors are taking all necessary precautions, including sanitisation of LPG cylinders to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. Pleased to know that most of our distributors have voluntarily come forward to feed the poor and help the needy,” he said.
“The distributor family is also doing a commendable job in sensitising our #LPGWarriors about the importance of using face masks and #AarogyaSetu app in defeating the pandemic. Our frontline warriors have helped in disseminating this useful information to our consumers.Urged the distributors to continue with the good work in following the SOPs of #SocialDistancing, sanitisation and hygiene at the workplace to minimise the risk of infection. Also, urged them to be empathetic towards our front line #LPGWarriors and take all possible care of them,” Pradhan added.
