NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has congratulated ITAT, Cuttack, on getting possession of their own ultra-modern office.
“Joined the virtual inauguration of the state-of-the-art office-cum-residential complex of Income-Tax Appellate Tribunal, Cuttack, by Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. The occasion was also graced by CM Naveen Patnaik, Union Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, CJ Odisha and officials of CBDT,” he said
“I congratulate ITAT, Cuttack, on getting possession of their own ultra-modern office. Inauguration of this new office complex will help Cuttack bench of ITAT in effective disposal of appeals even from the benches in eastern India and in making justice more accessible to people,” Pradhan said.
Guided by PM Narendra Modi’s mantra of ‘Reform’, ‘Perform’ and ‘Transform’, India has moved from an era of tax terrorism to tax transparency through technology driven reforms, reducing complexities and improving ease of doing business, he said.
“#ModiGovt has ensured that honest taxpayers are recognised and their problems resolved. Today, India is among the few countries in the word where both rights and duties of taxpayers have been codified, a key element in restoring trust between the tax payer and the tax collector,” he added.
