BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Monday commended Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his pro-active stance towards the National COVID-19 vaccination drive.
Soon after the Chief Minister Patnaik took the 1st dose of vaccine that followed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking the same earlier in the day, Union Minister Pradhan hoped that after both Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Patnaik took dose of vaccine, it would inspire confidence among general public.
“Commend Sh. @Naveen_Odisha ji’s pro-active stance towards the national vaccination drive.CM Odisha taking the jab just after PM Modi will inspire confidence in the public towards #MadeInIndia vaccines.Urge all eligible people in the country to get vaccinated. #CovidMuktBharat,” Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted @dpradhanbjp.
Meanwhile, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Monday took first dose of COVID19 vaccine.“Happy to share that I took my first dose of #COVID19 vaccine today. Grateful to our scientists, health workers for their race against time to deliver the vaccines to people. Appeal to all eligible people to come forward and get vaccinated for a #CovidFreeOdisha,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted@Naveen_Odisha.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister, Narendra Modi took his first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Monday at AIIMS New Delhi.In a tweet, the Prime Minister said, “Took my first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine at AIIMS. Remarkable how our doctors and scientists have worked in quick time to strengthen the global fight against COVID-19. I appeal to all those who are eligible to take the vaccine. Together, let us make India COVID-19 free!”
