NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday addressed the national-level webinar on ‘New Normal in Covid-19 Times’ organised by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas as a part of the ongoing awareness campaign Unite2FightCorona launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to further encourage people to adopt Covid-19 appropriate behaviour.
“Through the Unite2FightCorona awareness campaign, PM Shri Narendra Modi has yet again unfolded a new chapter in India’s collective fight against the novel coronavirus. Masks, hand hygiene and physical distancing are key to defeating #Covid19,” Dharmendra Pradhan said.
“Our oil and gas establishments and their consumer-centric touch points cater to a large cross section of people in the country. Urged all stakeholders, including in refineries,LPG delivery and retail outlets to conduct a webinar on #Covid-19 appropriate behaviour in each district,” he said
Union Minister Pradhan instructed officials of our PSUs and their establishments to conduct webinars in their jurisdictional areas in the coming days to spread awareness about the effectiveness of wearing masks,washing hands regularly with soap and maintaining social distancing to keep #Covid19 at bay.
He also, encouraged our officials and our PSUs to use social media effectively to disseminate information on the new normal and encourage people to follow appropriate #Covid-19 protocols as enunciated by PM Modi. “Together we shall emerge victorious. #Unite2FightCorona,” he added.
