NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was on Sunday held a video interaction with Pravasi Odias residing in the gulf countries namely the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman.
“Interacted with Pravasi Odia friends residing in the gulf countries namely the UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman through video conferencing. Discussed the #Covid19 situation in the gulf region and measures they are taking to keep themselves protected,” the Union Minister Pradhan twitted.
“Urged them to take care of each other, especially the Indian diaspora in these difficult times. Also, reassured them to not worry about their families back home as GOI under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi has taken necessary steps to address their needs on time,” he said.
“Washing hands regularly, maintaining hygiene and #SocialDistancing are key factors in emerging victorious from this health crisis. Requested all my friends to follow the lockdown guidelines laid down by their authorities to eliminate the risk of #Covid19 infection.With the blessings of Mahaprabhu Jagannath we shall overcome this grave challenge that has befallen humanity.Jai Jagannath,” he added.
