NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was on Sunday held talks with heads of Centrals PSUs working in Odisha in view of the COVID-19 outbreak and subsequent nationwide lockdown.
“Thanked our PSUs, especially PSUs from Oil, Gas, Steel, East Coast Railway, BSNL Odisha, National Highways Authority of India – NHAI, National Aluminium Company Limited – NALCO, NTPC Limited, Airports Authority of India , Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, Paradip Port Trust, India Post, Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for their dedicated efforts in strengthening the fight against corona,” twitted Pradhan.
Dharmendra had convened a meeting with heads of all central govt. PSUs operational in Odisha to take stock of measures being undertaken to fight the pandemic and also the work being carried out by all the PSUs to make lives smooth for citizens in Odisha amid the national lockdown.
Employees of our PSUs are not only working in the pandemic to make our lives comfortable even in these difficult times, they are also contributing a part of their salaries to #PMCARES for a healthy India and Odisha.
“Also, exhorted everyone to wear home-made masks to stop the spread of coronavirus and also download the #AarogyaSetuApp and educate other people on the benefits of using this app to strengthen Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi’s efforts in fighting this health emergency,” the Union Minister said.
