NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP National VP-Spokesperson and former MP, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda were on Monday remembered party stalwart and former Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on his death anniversary.
“Fondly remembering Shri Arun Jaitley ji on his death anniversary. A true friend, mentor and a guiding light, Jaitley saheb, was a man for all seasons. Always achieving the impossible, he will be remembered for ushering some of India’s biggest post-independence reforms,” Pradhan tweeted.
“A year ago Arun Jaitley Ji left behind a great void, in India’s polity & the hearts of millions of admirers. A top political leader, he was also an ace lawyer, orator, avid reader & writer, friend & mentor to countless people. I was privileged to have known & been guided by him,” Baijayant Panda tweeted.
Jaitley served as the Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs of the Government of India from 2014 to 2019.
