PURI/BHUBANESWAR: DGP Abhay on Sunday visited Puri and reviewed the security arrangement for the Lord Jagannath RathaYatra-2021. ADG (Law and Order) RK Sharma, Director Intelligence, Lalit Das, IGP(Central) Narasingh Bhol, DIG Intelligence Anup Sahoo and Puri SP Vishal Singh attended the review meeting
DGP appealed to the residents of Puri to adhere COVID-19 guidelines and co-operate with Odisha Police to ensure a hassle free devotee-less Ratha Yatra like last year.
80 platoons to be deployed for security. Curfew to be clamped in Puri for nearly 48-hrs, sources said.
