BERHAMPUR/BHUBANESWAR: DGP Abhay flanked by ADGP(Law and Order-CID-CB) YK Jethwa on Saturday paid a visit to Southern Police Range headquarters in Berhampur in Ganjam and reviewed COVID-19 enforcement with Range DIG Satyabrata Bhoi and SPs of Ganjam and Berhampur, Brijesh Rai and Pinaki Mishra.
DGP Abhay advised senior police officials to keep a close watch on Girisola check gate to avoid cross border COVID-19 infiltration.
“DGP visited Berhampur and reviewed Covid enforcement measures, implementation of lockdown & weekend shutdown, functioning of border check posts and preparedness to ramp up Police assistance to tackle Cobid19. ADG L&O accompanied. DIG SR,SsP Berhampur & Ganjam attended the review,” Odisha Police@odisha_police.
DGP, accompanied by ADG Jethwa, DIG Bhoi, SP Berhampur Mishra visited Girisola check gate and reviewed border sealing arrangements. He urged SP BPR to ensure effective enforcement along with empathy. DGP visited Golanthara Police Station and Gosaninuagaon Police Station and reviewed enforcement and other operational matters. He interacted with police personnel and enquired into their well being.
