CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR: Odisha DGP Abhay was on Tuesday hold a video conference with all SPs, DIGs and IGPs as well as Twin City CP and DCPs and reviewed COVID-19 situation and enforcement of regulations. The DGP also reviewed welfare measures for Police, including review of payment of Ex-gratia and full salary to Corona Warriors who laid their life.
DGP asked officials to keep a close watch on cannabis trafficking and cultivation. DGP also held discussion on promotion of Constables.
Capacity building for Cyber Crime, temporary Beat House and Outposts, prompt response from districts in High Court matters, rationalising use of OSAP,submission of nomination for medals and ending NHRC matters were among those issues were come up during discussions.
Besides DGP, ADGP (Headquarters) Vinaytosh Mishra, ADGP CID-CB S Priyadarshi, Director Intelligence, RK Sharma IGP (Modernisation) Rekha Lohani and Director, SCRB Rajesh Kumar were among those present in the meeting.
