NUAPADA/BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Director General of Police, SK Bansal on Friday paid a visit to Nuapada district under the Sunabeda Headquarters South-Western Range.
DGP Bansal, along with Director Intelligence, Sanjib Panda, ADG(Law and Order)RK Sharma , IGP (Operations), Amitabh Thakur, DIG(SIW) Anirudha Singh, DIG(SWR), Rajesh Pandit and IG CRPF , reviewed anti-Maoists operations.
He reviewed the LWE scenario. DGP Bansal interacted with the police personnel doing good work and encouraged them.
He made an appeal to Maoists shun violence and partake in the development process. DGP Bansal visited the forward posts at Sunabeda and Patdhara. He also inaugurated the District Intelligence and Operations Cell.
