BHUBANESWAR: After assuming office, DGP SK Bansal has been continuing meeting with heads of the State. After meeting Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, DGP Bansal, has met Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at Naveen Niwas here and reportedly briefed him about COVID-19 enforcement across the State. Odisha registers 1,216 new COVID-19 cases, highest single-day tally in five months.
Chief Minister earlier on Tuesday, had chaired a meeting with senior officials after reports fresh surge in COVID positive cases in the State.
DGP also appraised law and order situation of the State to Chief Minister Patnaik. 5T Secretary VK Pandian was present during the meeting.
