BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: DGP Abhay on Wednesday held Video Conference with all District Supdts. of Police including SRP Rourkela / SRP Cuttack and all range DIsG / IsG of Police from 10.30 AM to 01.00 PM. Director, Intelligence RK Sharma, ADGP, CID-CB, S Priyadarshi, IGP (Operations) Amitabh Thakur, DIG , Intelligence, DIG , SIW, ADGP (Hdqrs.) ADGP (L&O) ,IGP (Modernisation.) ,IGP (Provisioning) and IGP (Personnel.) also attended.
Another Video Conference on same topics was held with Commissioner of Police, Cuttack-Bhubanswar Addlitinal. CP, BBSR-CTC, twin city DCPs, DCP Traffic.“Welfare of Police men (Especially Covid treatment & prevention), Durga Puja arrangements , Premature retirement, out of turn promotion, incentives, observing Police Commemoration Day, prompt action on viral videos. (Esp. Corruption, offences against women, human right abuses), functioning of CCTV in Police Stations, nomination for Police Medals. MO SARKAR fund utilisation, cases pending investigation, appreciation of Good work done. Pendency of E-Abhijoga. Pending compliance of NHRC / OHRC. Briefing about ERSS Scheme were among those issues discussed in the meeting,” sources said.
