‘Developed India Youth Connection Program’ organized by SOA NSS

BHUBANESWAR:The NSS Branch of Education and Research (SOR) organized the “Developed India Youth Connection Program” on Wednesday at the university campus. This national level program was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India. The program was organized with the aim of promoting leadership, creativity and social responsibility among the youth.

More than 320 NSS volunteers participated in the event, organized at SOA University Campus-4.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of NSS and the SOA NSS Bureau, was attended by SOA Vice Chancellor Prof. Pradeep Kumar Nanda, Regional Director of NSS Sarita Patel. “My Bharat” Odisha State Director Shri Shivaji Kharat, Youth Officer of the Government of India Shri Ajit Kushwa, Youth Icon Shri Om Priyadarshi Chotoraiya, IR and UOP Director Prof. Nachiketa K Sharma, Program Coordinator NSS Prof. Kamal Lochan Mahant, Dean of Students Welfare Prof. Jyoti Ranjan Das and Dean of IAS Prof. Santosh Kumar Rout.
Professor Nanda in his speech said that youth has a big role to play in realizing the vision of Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi of “Developed India by 2047”. That is why the “Developed India Youth Connect Program” has been organized. This program is based on how children will be motivated and how they can contribute in their respective fields in the next 22 years, said Professor Nanda in his speech.
