BHUBANESWAR: Depression over Wcentral and adjoining NW Bay of Bengal moved slowly NWwards with a speed of 7 kmph during past 6 hrs and lay centered at 1730 hrs IST of today, about 150 km SSE of Puri, 180 km ESE of Gopalpur, 190 km south of Paradip, 250 km south of Chandbali.
Likely to move nearly NW-wards and intensify further into a DD during next 12 hrs. Thereafter, to move further NWwards, it is likely to cross Odisha coast near Puri by noon of 9th September. It would then move west-NWwards across Odisha & Chhattisgarh during subsequent 2 days.
