BHUBANESWAR:Veteran Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji addressed the nation in his 129th “Mann Ki Baat” program. On this occasion, Shri Modi ji spoke about the various achievements made by India in the year 2025. Starting from national security to sports and science, Modi highlighted how India has left its unique mark all over the world. It has greatly influenced the countries of the world by widely spreading new innovations and technologies. India has shown through Operation Sindhur that it does not compromise with its security in any way.

Due to Modi’s emphasis on Swadeshi campaign for self-reliant India, the attraction of buying indigenous products has increased among the people of India and Odisha today. This has increased the confidence to produce more and more indigenous products. Modi has brought the contribution of Odisha’s Pavarti Giri to the public in the country’s freedom struggle. Modi has decided to celebrate his birth centenary in January 2026. State President Shri Manmohan Samal said that all these have made Odia people proud.

Shri Samal joined the “Mann Ki Baat” radio program in Ward No. 27 under Srikrishna Mandal of Bhubaneswar North constituency and said that Parvati Giriji, who participated in the Quit India Movement at the age of just 16, is a source of inspiration for all of us. After the freedom struggle, she dedicated her life to social service and tribal welfare.
She established many orphanages. But Parvati Giriji’s dedicated work was not widely known. She was not given enough respect. Modiji is not only remembering this great heroine, he is going to celebrate her birth centenary in her honor. He has guided the next generation by informing the countrymen about Parvati Giri’s sacrifice and renunciation.
Modiji gives great importance to the contribution of youth in nation building. National Youth Day will be celebrated across the country on January 12, the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. In this, youth will share their thoughts on various important topics like entrepreneurship, fitness, startups and agriculture. Prime Minister Modi himself will be present in this, he said in the “Mann Ki Baat” program. Therefore, the young people of Odisha should participate in this program in maximum numbers. Shri Samal said that under the leadership of the legendary Prime Minister Modiji, Odisha is ready to grow in step with India by taking new resolutions in 2026.
Among others, Deputy Chief Minister Shri K.V. Singhdeo, State Secretary Shri Saroj Kar, Former MP Shri Amar Patnaik, Former MLA Shri Priyadarshi Mishra, Senior Leader Shri Mahesh Mohanty and many activists and local residents were present at the event. “Mann Ki Baat” program was organized in every constituency of the state.
