MALKANGIRI/BHUBANESWAR: The Development Commissioner Anu Garg , 5T Secretary VK Pandian and Special Secretary to CM, Naveen Patnaik, R Vineel Krishna who were on a 2-days visit to Malkangiri, on Wednesday visited Mission Shakti Café –Millet Shakti Tiffin Centre managed by Gurupriya BLF at Malkangiri’s Chitrakonda and took breakfast there.
Sources said, DC Anu Garg, 5T Secretary V.K. Pandian and Special Secretray to CM, Vineel Krishna , and other senior officials , who on a 2-day visit to Malkangiri made a brief stop at the Chitrakonda Cafe for breakfast. Top mandarins of the State Government lauded the efforts of Women SHGs in running such delicious café and center, where every bite is a celebration of women’s empowerment.
Managed by Gurupriya BLF, the MissionShakti Cafe, and MilletShakti tiffin centre, Chitrakonda, Malkangiri has been a favourite since its inauguration. With a daily footfall of 150 to 200, the cafe and tiffin centre generates a turnover of Rs. 3 lakh per month.
