BHUBANESWAR/KORAPUT: Development Commissioner Suresh Mahapatra flanked by 5T Secretary VK Pandian on Thursday visited Covid-19 hospital in Koraput district and reviewed the status.
They visited the 150-bed dedicated Covid hospital being set up for the treatment of the patients suffering from the deadly virus. The officials checked the manpower tie-up, medicines, ICU facility, isolation wards.
Both Mohapatra and Pandian also held discussion with district administration issues relating to the lockdown, facilitating of other activities exempted from the lockdown, ensuring that food is served to the destitute and helpless people in the Gram Panchayats and Urban areas and maintenance of social distance.
“Odisha Development Commissioner & Secy to CM (5T) also visited & reviewed #COVID19 situation in Nabarangpur including the progress of 200-bed #Odisha Covid Hospital. They also reviewed the resumption of agriculture and livelihood activities, law and order situation,” Odisha CMO twitted.
