BHUBANESWAR/PURI: Cyclone Jawad over westcentral Bay of Bengal moved slightly northwards with a speed of 04 kmph during past 06 hours and lay centered at 0530 hrs IST of Saturday , about 230 km southeast of Vishakhapatnam, 410 km south-southwest of Puri and 490 km south-southwest of Paradip (Odisha), IMD said in its latest bulletin on Saturday morning.
Cyclone Jawad over the Bay of Bengal is likely to cause tidal wave having height up to 13 feet along the coast of Odisha, IMD Regional Centre here issued heavy to very heavy rainfall and gusty wind warnings for the Twin City of Cuttack and Bhubaneswar.
