BHUBANESWAR/BHADRAK: On direction of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Chief Secretary Suresh Mohapatra flanked by 5T Secretary VK Pandian paid a visit to Baba Akhandalamani Temple and DPCL , where they reviewed various on-going projects.
Both CS Mohapatra and 5T Secretary Pandian directed the officials of the concerned departments to complete all these works by November 30.
They also reviewed various development projects at Dhamra Port. They reviewed the construction of the two-lane road from Jamujhadi to Dhamra, Mantei river bridge for road connection from Chandbali to Dhamra, doubling of Bhadrak- Dhamra railway line, establishment of port-based industrial area at Dhamra, construction of airstrip at Balimela and LNG terminal at Dhamra port.
The target was set to complete the Mantei river bridge by the end of December this year.
CS directed the field officials to expedite the acquisition of 1,200 acres of land in the first phase for the port-based industrial area and land for the Dhamra air strip.
