BHUBANESWAR: From Central Government PSUs like Indian Oil Corporation Ltd, NTPC, MCL, SAIL-Rourkela, SBI and State PSUs like OPTCL, OMC and OHPC with timely help of hand from leading private players like Jindal Steel and Power Limited, Jindal Stainless Limited, Tata Steel , IMFA, Grasim Industries, Paradip Phosphates Ltd, Dalmia Cement, IFFCO, Vedanta, Utkal Alumina International, Hindalco and Aditya Aluminum, Odisha Government has now made available as many 1300 beds at various COVID-19 Care Centre with help of corporate support.
Power majors NTPC has set up 23 bedded facility at Kaniha, while Jindal Steel and Power Limited has set 30 bedded CCC at Angul. IMFA has set up 38 Bedded facilities at Sukinda in Jajpur District, 30 bedded facilities at Therubali in Rayagada and 50 Bedded CCC at Choudwar in Cuttack district.
Vedanta set up 50 bedded facilities at Lanjigarh and 50 bedded CCC at Jharsuguda.MCL set up 170 bedded CCC at Lakhanpur in Jharsuguda district.Grasim Industries set up 20 bedded facilities in Ganjam, in Sundargarh Rourkela Steel Plant, NTPC at Darlipali and Dalmia Cement at Rajgangpur have set up 112 bedded facilities.Paradeep Phosphates Limited (PPL), IFFCO and Indian Oil have already set up 146 bedded facilities for COVID Care at Paradeep in Jagatsinghpur District.Tata Steel has set up 400 bedded facilities at Jajpur Town and at Kalinga Nagar 80 bedded CCC has been set up by the Steel Major.Jindal Stainless Limited has also opened 30 bedded CCC at Jajpur Road.
MCL has set up 22 bedded CCC at Burla, while Hindalco has set up 14 bedded CCC at Hirakud and Aditya Aluminum has set CCC at Lapanga with 06 beds.Utkal Alumina International has set up 22 bedded facility at Doraguda, while at Bargarh ACC Cement has set up 19 bedded CCC.Apart from the Industrial Houses, State Bank of India has set up 24 bedded facility at Puri, while OPTCL has set up 08 bedded CCC at Chandaka in Bhubaneswar.
