Court Rejects ED Petition for 2-days more Remand of Honeytrap Blackmailer Archana Nag

BHUBANESWAR: A local Court here on Monday rejected ED petition seeking 2 more days remand of Blackmailer Archana Nag. It was for the third time; ED was seeking her remand while Court rejected it.

ED after completion of Archana’s second phase remand period, the Central agency, had produced her before the Court and had sought for 2 more days remand citing that it has not obtained digital evidence from State Forensic Science Laboratory here and wants 2 more days remand of Archana Nag while Court rejected it. With this, Archana is all set return back to Jharpada Special Jail here.

During the second phase of Archana’s remand period, ED had jointly interrogated hubby Jagabandhu Chand and co -accused Sradhanjali Behera along with some Bank officials.

Arachana Nag Chand and her husband , Jagabandhu Chand were booked under Sections 341, 328, 324, 354 – C, 370, 386/387/388, 389, 419/420, 465, 506, 120 – B of IPC and Section 66 -E, 67 of IT Act.
