KENDRAPARA/CUTTACK: The Vigilance wing of Odisha Police on Friday conducted raids at establishments of Cooperative Society, Cutack Sub-Assistant Auditor General Siba Prasad Mallick.
On the allegation of acquisition of assets disproportionate to his known sources of income by Cooperative Society, Cutack Sub-Assistant Auditor General Mallick, Vigilance sleuths conducted raids on his residential building and relative’s house at Bhubaneswar, house at native village Kutaranga in Kendrapada district and office room at Cuttack and detected assets worth Rs 71,25,029.
The detected assets include four-storied building of Rs 52,50,446, eight numbers of plots 9,48,000, deposits in different banks of 1,46,583, gold and silver ornaments of 2,71,498 and cash of Rs 39,000.Inquiry was still in progress, informed an official release.
