BERHAMPUR/BHUBANESWAR: With Flamboyant YK Jethwa , at the helm of affairs, Vigilance sleuths continued to give sleepless nights to corrupted elements in the State administration. The anti-corruption wing, which had earlier surprised while raiding former constable with Bhubaneswar Police, Prasanna Behera, on Monday morning, once again, shocked after recovering high rises owned by Constable No-742 Sudarshan Pradhan of Berhampur Police in Ganjam.
The Vigilance said in a statement, on Monday, basing on the allegation of acquisition of disproportionate assets by Sri Sudarsan Pradhan, Constable No 742 of Berhampur Police, Ganjam, simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance led by 01 Additional . SP, 02 DSPs, 05 Inspectors and other staff at several places .
These included 3 storeyed residential building at Lochapada, Main Road, Berhampur, 2) Buildings located at Nimakhandi and 3) Parental house at village Gamundi, P.S- Bhanjanagar, Dist-Ganjam on the strength of search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Berhampur.Cash Rs 5, 16, 880 unearthed so far.
