AUL/KENDRAPARA: Odisha Panchayati Raj, Housing and Urban Development and Law Minister Pratap Jena, who is under scanner for his role in Mahanga murder case, on Tuesday faced tough weather in Kendrapara’s Aul Assembly segment held by his Party colleague Pratap Deb, during his visit to lay the foundation stone for a drinking water project at Olaver under Rajkanika block of the district.
Sources said, Minister Jena was on his way to the meeting venue to attend the function with local MLA Pratap Deb, while Congress leaders hurled eggs at his convoy at Aul. Later the Minister attended the foundation stone laying ceremony.
Following the act, the activists shouted slogans against the BJD and waved black flags at the Minister too. The Congress workers shouted “Pratap Jena Down Down” and opposed his visit.
