BHUBANESWAR: BJP and Congress demanded CBI probe into the issue while BJD says, the matter is sub-judice and politicisation of such issues was unfortunate.
‘Govind Sahu was murder and we demanded a SIT probe into the issue,” Congress MLA Tara Bahinipati said.
Meanwhile, Sambalpur Range Prisons DIG, Anusaya Jena has started a probe into the mysterious suicide case of Govinda Sahu, key accused in Mamita Meher murder case. Sahu was founding handing from a tree inside Kantabanji Jail in Bolangir.
Sahu was scheduled to be produced before the court of JMFC today. DG Prisons Manoj Chhabra and IGP (Prisons) Diptesh Patnaik were closely monitoring the issue.
