BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK/BALANGIR: While respecting High Court order, Odisha Congress on Friday observed Odisha Bandh . In view of the HC restrictions, Bandh has a little impact across Odisha.
Even though, there was no effect of Congress Bandh in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the protestors intensified agitation in the districts like Kalahandi Balangir and few other south western districts to mount pressure on the Government to take action against Minister Captain Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged role in shielding accused of teacher Mamita Meher murder case.
Odisha Congress workers led by Party MLA Suresh Routray hit streets at Master Canteen Square in Bhubaneswar demanding removal of Minister of State (Home) Dibya Shankar Mishra over his alleged link with prime accused Govind Sahoo in Mahaling schoolteacher Mamita murder case.
