NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: While coming down heavily on Congress for its disrespect to laws of the land, BJP National VP and former MP, Baijayant Jay Panda on Wednesday, termed the ‘Satyagraha’ policy adopted by the Grand Old Party over ED questioning Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi , as ‘Mithyagraha’.
Why can’t they( Sonia-Rahul Gandhi) be questioned by investigating agencies, nobody in the nation is above the law of the land. The sooner they realise this, the better it will be for them ? asked the BJP leader Panda.
“As I have said earlier, what Congress is indulging in nationwide can be called ‘Mithyagrah’. Why can’t they be questioned by investigating agencies, nobody in the nation is above the law of the land. The sooner they realise this, the better it will be for them,” BJP VP Baijayant Jay Panda tweeted @PandaJay.
Congress chief Sonia Gandhi was questioned by ED on Tuesday (July 26) for 6 hours in connection with the National Herald case. To protest this, Congress workers had staged a procession in Delhi which they have called Satyagraha and said that they will continue to protest as long as Sonia Gandhi is questioned.
