BHUBANESWAR: On Monday, the Confiscation Court ordered confiscation of DA including 1 multi storeyed building at Cuttack, 1 building at Bhubaneswar, a farm house (5.02 Ac) and Bank and Postal deposits, of late Basanta Kr Pradhan, Ex-Deputy Director, Social Forestry, Bhubaneswar and spouse.
Late Basanta Kr Pradhan, Ex-Deputy Director, Social Forestry, Bhubaneswar and his spouse were earlier convicted in a DA case.
In all DA cases against senior ranks, parallel confiscation proceedings are launched by Odisha Vigilance in special courts created for the purpose.
