BHUBANESWAR: A condolence meeting along with mass Bhojan program is being organised to mark the 11th day rituals of eminent sports personality and social activist of Budheswari Colony, late Lalit Chandra Rath. Late Rath passed away on May 10.
Late Rath was ‘Samudhi’ of BJD Bhubaneswar Central Assembly president Rabi Narayan Chhotray and father of Bithika Chhotray, Principal of City based Venkateswar English Medium School.
A condolence meeting will be held at Shivani Mandap at Cuttack-Puri Road near Old Station Bazar in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday, where many eminent personality of the Capital City are expected to join the meeting to express their condolences to the departed soul. Late Rath was a very well-known personality in Budheswari Colony area of Bhubaneswar.
Recently, late Rath’s daughter, and daughter –in- law of BJD Bhubaneswar Central Assembly president Rabi Narayan Chhotray , Bithika Chhotray , was adjudged with SOF Best District Principal Award-2023-24.
