CUTTACK/BHUBANESWAR:A voluntary blood donation camp was organized at CRRI Police Station on Tuesday, 23/12/2025, in a joint effort of the Blood Bank Branch of Sri Ram Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital, Commissionerate Police and CRRI Police Station. On this occasion, 80 units of valuable blood were collected.
On this occasion, Additional DCP of Cuttack, Ranjit Prasthi, joined in and inaugurated the camp and encouraged the blood donors.
Among others, Krishna Chandra Sethi ACP Zone-5, IIC CRRI Vijay Kumar Barik, IIC Kanderpur Atharan Sethi, IIC Bidanasi and all the staff of the police station were present in this program. Similarly, local youth and local social workers also joined this camp and helped the friends to donate blood. The staff of the blood bank branch of Sriram Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital collected blood in this camp.
To meet the need for blood in the Twin Cities, the Commissionerate Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Red Cross Branch has been organizing such blood donation camps at regular intervals.
