KENDRAPARA: Kendrapara Collector, Samartha Verma has hailed the Hygiene, taste foods are being served to COVID-19 patients at the SUM Hospital managed COVID-19 hospital in Odisha’s costal pockets of Kendrapara.The District Collector has also shared 2 photos probably including lunch and dinner in its official page in Facebook.
“Hot cooked meal in SUM hospital Kendrapara follows a menu decided after consultation with patients and staff. Hygiene, taste, and infection prevention protocol is followed as a principle. We are constantly trying to make the next meal better,” the Kendrapara Collector tweeted.
In association with the IMS and SUM Hospital, the State government on April 14 this year had set up a 110-bed COVID-19 hospital in Kendrapara district.The new hospital came up at the Government Polytechnic at Chhata, has 100 beds and 10 ICU beds. This apart, life-saving device and ventilators have been provided to the hospital.
While the State government funded the hospital, the SUM Hospital engaged its doctors, nurses and paramedical staff at the COVID-19 hospital.
