KENDRAPARA: Collector Amrit Rituraj on Saturday visited Rajkanika block and supervised damage assessment work and other development work.
Thousands of acres of agriculture land have been submerged due to heavy rain and subsequent flash floods while many still marooned in Rajkanika in Kendrapara. Collector supervised all reconstruction work and asked block officials to expedite relief work and restoration work.
In Many low lying areas, sea water has entered into agriculture fields damaging crops and vegetables. Vegetable farmers in Rajkanika were the worst hit as this was their prime time for marketing their products.
