BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: Call it Naveen Patnaik’s 3 Most Trusted IAS Officers Focused on Cuttack’s development. With Chief Minister himself monitoring these developmental projects, Secretary to Chief Minister ( 5T) ,VK Pandian joined on Sunday with Works Secretary Dr Krishan Kumar and Special Secretary to Chief Minister, Vineel Krishna to Expedite Taladanda Canal- Netaji Bus Terminal projects. Along with SCB Medical College and Hospital transformation, both these projects were taken up under 5T initiative of Chief Minister for decongestion and Transformation of Cuttack.
The 3 senior IAS officers on Sunday rushed to Cuttack and visited the project sites of Taladanda Canal and Netaji Bus Terminal in Cuttack and reviewed the progress. RDC Anil Kumar Samal, Collector Cuttack Bhabani Shankar Chayani, CMC Commissioner Ananya Das and senior project officials were present during the site visit.
“Secretary to CM (#5T) VK Pandian has visited the project sites of Cuttack Netaji Bus Terminal (CNBT) along with Taladanda Canal in the silver city & reviewed progress. The Secretary directed officials to ensure shifting of the utilities and expedite the project work,” MoSarkar 5T tweeted @MoSarkar5T.“Built over an area of 17.91 acres, Cuttack Netaji Bus Terminal (CNBT) will help in easing the traffic flow of buses in Cuttack. Taladanda canal renovation project’s first phase work of 1.55 km is also nearing completion.MoSarkar 5T@MoSarkar5T,” MoSarkar 5T tweeted @MoSarkar5T.
The Taladanda canal renovation project first phase work of 1.55 Kilometer(KM) is nearing completion.It has been decided to extend the canal work up to National Highway side. The total length of the renovation with roads on both sides till National Highway will be 3.55 KM.
The Cuttack Netaji Bus Terminal ( CNBT) is being built over an area of 17.91 acres in Khan Nagar. The terminal will help in easing the traffic flow of the buses in Cuttack and provide comfortable facilities for the passengers at the terminal. The project is scheduled to be completed by August 2022.
