BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday wished people of Temple City residents on occasion of Capital Foundation Day. It may be noted here that Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru had laid the foundation stone of Bhubaneswar as Capital City of Odisha on April 13, 1948.
“ରାଜଧାନୀ ପ୍ରତିଷ୍ଠା ଦିବସରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ଆନ୍ତରିକ ଶୁଭେଚ୍ଛା। ସବୁଜିମା ଭରା ପରିବେଶ ସାଙ୍ଗକୁ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସୁବିଧାକୁ ପ୍ରାଥମିକତା ଦେଇ ସ୍ମାର୍ଟ ସିଟି ଭାବେ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବର ନିଜର ସ୍ଵତନ୍ତ୍ର ପରିଚୟ ବଜାୟ ରଖିଛି। ଆମ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କ ମିଳିତ ପ୍ରଚେଷ୍ଟା ହିଁ ଭୁବନେଶ୍ବରର ଗରିମାକୁ ଅକ୍ଷୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ରଖି ଏହାକୁ ଆହୁରି ସୁନ୍ଦର ସହର କରି ଗଢି ତୋଳିବ।,’ CM Patnaik said in a tweet.
Odisha capital Bhubaneswar celebrated the 75th Capital Foundation Day in a grand way today.The Capital Foundation Day celebration-cum-Rajdhani Mahotsav is observing for three days from Thursday to Saturday.
The mega celebrations began with a ceremonial civilian parade on Thursday morning. The joint parade was presented before Assembly Speaker Bikram Keshari Arukha and a host of dignitaries in front of Vidhan Sabha. The parade was taken out from Rabindra Mandap to Jaydev Bhavan.
