CM visits Barmunda Bus Stand, Reviews Construction Work

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister  Naveen Patnaik on Thursday inspected the construction of Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) in Baramunda and reviewed the progress of the work. Chief Minister Patnaik said the new ISBT in #Bhubaneswar will cost about ₹180 Cr and is expected to be completed in 18 months.

Chief Minister also praised its design and said that it will be a new landmark in #Bhubaneswar. The project has two parts–one is Khandagiri Bus Depot & the other is Baramunda Inter State Bus Terminal. CM expressed satisfaction on the timely completion of Khandagiri Bus Depot work. #5T  At ISBT, special emphasis is being given on passenger convenience with state-of-the-art design, wide access and exit of buses, and commercial space. In fact Bhubaneswar’s Bermunda bus stand is the busiest in the state. Buses ply to different parts of the state from 6,000 passengers every day.During the Chief Minister’s visit, Minister, Ashok Chandra Panda, MLA, Anant Narayan Jena, Sushant Raut, Chief Secretary, Asit Tripathi, 5T Secretary VK Pandian, Twin City Police Commissioner Dr Sudhanshu Sarangi, BMC Commissioner Prem Chandra Chaudhury and others were present.
