BHUBANESWAR: With BJD won the Padmapur byepolls over 42,000 votes, and Party’s Barsha Singh Bariha introduced herself into politics as MLA after her father Bijay Ranjan Singh Baariha’s demise; Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is likely to visit the Assembly seat to inaugurate several development projects on Sunday.
CM Patnaik is expected to address several public meetings , scheduled of which is yet to be decided but sources said, BJD is hosting public meetings at Padampur, Paikamal and Jharbandh, where Patnaik is likely to address the gathering. But the Chief Minister’s Office is yet to make any announcement of Patnaik’s western Odisha visit.
Recently, the State Government has up graded Paikamal PHC into CHC. CM Patnaiks also expected to air his Government’s stand for a separate district tag for Padmapur.
