BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi welcomed and felicitated the newly elected MLA Shri Jay Dholakia at the BJP state office here on Saturday.
On this occasion, State President Shri Manmohan Samal, Minister Nityanand Gand, MLA Babu Singh, Bhubaneswar Organizational District President Niranjan Mishra, Nuapada District President Kamlesh Dixit, Kalpana Dholakia, wife of Late Rajendra Dholakia and other leaders were present.
BJP’s Dholakia won the Nuapada bypoll with a massive margin of 83,748 votes, reclaiming a constituency once represented by his late father. He secured 1,23,869 votes, surpassing Rajendra Dholakia’s 2024 winning tally by over 62,000 votes.
