BHUBANESWAR: A golden chapter has been added to the industrial history of Odisha.  Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi has laid the foundation stone of 27 industries with an investment of over Rs. 25,000 crores in a program organized by the Industries Department.

These projects are anticipated to create over 52,000 jobs across 12 districts, including Jharsuguda, Ganjam, Khordha, and Angul.

This has ensured that employment opportunities will be created for more than 52 thousand youth, the Chief Minister announced on the occasion.

Investors are gaining confidence in the policies and commitment of the Odisha government for industrial development.
The state government is attracting investors to manufacture various high value products to make Odisha the manufacturing hub of eastern India. The Chief Minister said on the occasion that products are being manufactured that can compete in the global market by moving up the manufacturing value chain.
Industry Minister Sampad Swain, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Development Commissiner Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary Industry and IPR Department Hemant Sharma were among those present.
