BHUBANESWAR:    Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi  and Minister of State for Forests, Environment and Climate Change, Labour and Employment Ganesh Ram Singh Khuntia and other dignitaries on Friday graced 75th Van Mahotsav Celebrations at Dumuduma High School Campus here.

BJP Ekamra Assembly MLA Babu Singh ,  Additional Chief Secretary Forest, Environment and Climate Change Department, Satyabrata Sahu and Debidutta Biswal  Principal Chief Conservator of Forests  and Head of Forest Force also present on this occasion. Chief Minister Majhi also participated in a Plantation drive and plant tree saplings.

On the call of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi through the ‘A tree for mother’ campaign, the Chief Minister Majhi has called upon the people of the state to plant a tree in the name of their mother.

‘The Forest Department has set a target to plant 5 crore trees in the state this year. Fodder will be distributed to all like educational institutions, private institutions, students, CM said.
