BHUBANESWAR: The Mohan Charan Majhi led BJP Government on Thursday taken yet another bold step and removed 2006 batch IAS officer Roopa Roshan Sahoo from CMO. It looks like Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is fishing in ex CM Naveen Patnaik’s pond.
The General Administration & Public Grievance Department said in a notification that the State government appointed Roopa Roshan Sahoo, IAS , as Commissioner-cum-secretary of ST & SC Development, Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department on Thursday.
“Roopa Roshan Sahoo, Special Secretary to Chief Minister, Odisha with additional charge of Commissioner-cum-secretary, ST & SC development department, M & BCW department is appointed as Commissioner-cum-secretary to Government, ST &SC Development M & BCW department,” the notification read.
After Roopa faced the wrath now all eyes on her IPS hubby, Anup Sahoo, who is considered to be a close aid of disgruntled BJD leader VK Pandian. Anup Sahoo , an IPS officer of 2006 batch, also serving in Bhubaneswar since past 6 to 7 years while he was not shifted outside Bhubaneswar since long. Now Anup Sahoo is IGP Intelligence.
