BHUBANESWAR: With World famous Rath Yatra of Shree Lord Jagannath, his siblings slated for July 7 and Debasnana Purnima slated for June 22, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday held a review meeting and discussed preparations for the upcoming Snana Purnima and Rath Yatra of the Holy Trinity in Puri.
In the review meeting, Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Chief Secretary PK Jena, Police DG Arun Sarangi, and Director Intelegnece, SK Priyadarshi were also present at the State Guest House where the Chief Minster’s Office is being run temporarily.
‘I had a discussion with Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Chief Secretary, Director General of Police and senior officers regarding the management of Rathayatra and Debasnana Purnima, the great festival of the union of devotees and God.This year the focus is on how disciplined Nitikanti and Mahaprabhu can be easily seen by his countless devotees in the procession, CM Majihi said.
