PURI/BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday flagged off first AC bus ‘Jagannath Express’ through Video Conference, which left Sheragada in Ganjam for Jagannath Dham Puri.
MP Chandrashekhar Sahu, Ganjam District Collector, OSRTC officials and Panchayat representatives of Sheragada were present in the event.
This bus service has been started by the Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC).Chief Minister said that with this new bus service between Sheragada-Puri, the people of Sheragadacan now easily visit Puri to have the darshan of Lord Shri Jagannath.
The Chief Minister hoped that this new bus service will be especially helpful for many people of Ganjam who go to Puri for Habisa, especially in the holy month of Kartika.
